ALOO AUR BESAN KE CHEELE
Ingredients
2 medium potatoes (aloo), boiled, peeled and roughly chopped
2 tablespoons gram flour
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
Oil for shallow-frying
Method
1. Grind together potatoes, gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt alongwith some water to make a thick batter. Transfer into a bowl, add cumin seeds and coriander leaves and mix well.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa. Put a ladle of prepared batter and spread into small discs. Shallow-fry till evenly golden from both sides.
3. Serve hot.
Preparation Time: 8-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-18 minutes
