Irrfan Khan is battling Cancer

It broke our hearts to learn that the National Film Award winner Irrfan Khan is battling cancer. He made the announcement with a public statement in March that he will be undergoing treatment for a Neuroendocrine tumour in London. The actor, since his diagnosis, has dropped out of two projects ��������� the untitled Vishal Bhardwaj film with Deepika Padukone and political satire series titled Gormint. Recently, we have learnt from a source that Irrfan has given his nod to star in Hindi Medium 2. This certainly means his health is getting better. To jog up your memory, the sequel of Hindi Medium was confirmed in February 2018, with Homi Adajania on board to direct it. Following the announcement, the news about Irrfan���������s health surfaced which seemingly put the project on the backburner. The makers had not discussed the script of the new film with Irrfan till then. But, well, things are coming back on the track. The makers of the film flew down to London to meet Irrfan. The narration of the script was held. A heartwarming meeting resulted in him deciding to do the sequel.
