KANDA PAPAD CHUTNEY
Ingredients
2 medium onions (kanda) thickly sliced
6 roasted urad dal papads
10-12 garlic cloves
4 green chillies stemmed and broken
½ cup roasted peanuts
3 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 small tomato chopped
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
1. Take garlic in a mortar add green chillies roasted peanuts and crush coarsely with the help of a pestle.
2. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds and once they change colour add onions and sauté till light golden.
3. Add the crushed mixture and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato and salt and sauté for a minute.
4. Crush papads and add to the pan add coriander and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve.
