SAMO KHICHU
Ingredients
4 tbsps barnyard millet (samo)
4 tsps ginger-green chilli paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
2 tsps white sesame seeds
Methi sambharo for sprinkling
Chopped fresh coriander leaves for sprinkling
Method
1. Coarsely grind the barnyard millet.
2. Heat 2½ cups water in a deep pan. Add ginger-green chilli paste salt carom seeds white sesame seeds and bring the mixture to a boil.
3. Add the ground millet and continuously mix and cook for 5-6 minutes.
4. Transfer into a serving bowl sprinkle methi sambharo and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
