The Jain Missi Roti isn't a beautiful Jain woman called Missi, but a mouth-watering bread that can be eaten with subzi and curries alike. MISSI ROTI Ingredients 3-4 tablespoons whole wheat flour 4-5 tablespoons soybean flour 3-4 tablespoons gram flour 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped 1 tablespoon finely chopped cabbage 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander 1 teaspoon dried pomegranate kernels ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon cumin-coriander powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon oil + for shallow-frying Butter for garnishing Yogurt for serving Method 1. Mix gram flour, soy bean flour and wheat flour in a bowl. 2. Add chillies, cabbage, coriander, pomegranate kernels, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt. 3. Add oil and water and knead into a soft dough. Set aside for 5 minutes. 4. Heat a non-stick tawa. 5. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into balls and roll out a thin disc. 6. Place the missi roti on hot tawa, drizzle oil and shallow-fry on both the sides till done. 7.
