Kareena had no hand in it

Before Diljit Dasunjh was finalised as the lead opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, in director Abhishek Chaubey?s Udta Punjab, a lot of speculation was surrounding the coveted role and Ayushmann Khurrana was the first to be approached for the role. But soon after he was dropped out of the list and the role was offered to Fawad Khan and then finally to Diljit.
