Bajirao Mastani was one of the best films of 2015. It portrayed the life of the Maratha warrior Bajirao Peshwa and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh played the role of the fearsome general and Deepika played the infamous Mastani. The movie won a great many accolades and was appreciated by all. It also had its fair share of controversy. Earlier on, Prasadrao Peshwe, descendant of the royal family had alleged that the film was factually incorrect and that portraying the royal ladies dancing was disrespectful. And now, the period film has entered the news for the wrong reasons once again.
