Taste and health in this super power-packed nutrient-rich Masala Bajra Roti! MASALA BAJRA ROTI Ingredients 1½ cups pearl millet (bajra) flour 1 small onion finely chopped 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 tbsp grated beetroot 1 small carrot grated 2-3 green chillies chopped 1 tbsp black sesame seeds 1 tbsp white sesame seeds ½ tbsp flax seeds (alsi) 1 tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste 2 tsps ghee + for drizzling White butter as required Chopped jaggery for sprinkling Method 1. Take pearl millet flour in a large bowl add onion coriander leaves beetroot green chillies black sesame seeds white sesame seeds flax seeds red chilli powder turmeric powder salt and ghee and mix well. 2. Add ½ cup water and knead to a soft dough. 3. Dip your fingers in water take a portion of the dough even spread on to a non-stick pan and make a small disc. Place the pan on heat cook for 1-2 minutes on each side on low heat. Drizzle ghee on both sides and cook further till golden brown. 4. Add a small portion of white butter on top of each disc sprinkle chopped jaggery cover and cook till jaggery melts. Place the rotis on a serving plate. 5. Serve hot with white butter and jaggery.
