BADAM NANKHATAI
Ingredients
10-12 Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds (badam)
Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds halved for garnish
¾ cup refined flour
¼ cup gram flour
¼ + 1/8 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp baking powder
A pinch of baking soda
A pinch of green cardamom powder
¼ + 1/8 cup ghee
Method
1. Preheat the oven at 180ºC
2. Chop Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds finely.
3. Sift refined flour gram flour powdered sugar baking powder baking soda and green cardamom powder in a bowl.
4. Add chopped almonds ghee and mix well.
5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls flatten each ball to make a thick disk.
6. Arrange on a baking tray and place halved almonds on each disk.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
8. Allow to cool. Store or serve.
