Considering the fact that DP has delivered four back-to-back blockbuster films last year including Johar?s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, we aren?t surprised. With this, reports about Ms Padukone replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan as Karan Johar?s favourite heroine have started doing the rounds. But wethinks that?s not the case at all. After all, at the end of the day, filmmaking is just a business. And if you are a producer or a director, you want to work with actors who get the cash registers ringing, no? Saif Ali Khan?s Begum may be a bankable actor, but 2013 just wasn?t her year, with Gori Tere Pyaar Mein going thud at the BO.
