WALNUT BAKLAVA ROLLS
Ingredients
10-15 Pro V Premium Walnuts
12 phyllo sheets
Melted butter as required
10-15 Pro V Jumbo Pistachios shelled and chopped
1 cup sugar
Pistachio powder to sprinkle
Method
1. Preheat oven at 180°C.
2. Take a phyllo sheet and apply melted butter fold in half and apply melted butter again.
3. Place a wooden stick at the end and roll tightly. Remove the stick and gather the edges.
4. Arrange all the roundels on a baking tray and bake for 8-10 minutes.
5. Chop Pro V Premium Walnuts roughly. Place a portion of chopped walnuts in each cavity and sprinkle Pro V Jumbo Pistachios on top.
6. Bake for 5-7 minutes in preheated oven.
7. To make sugar syrup take sugar in a nonstick pan. Add 1 cup water and cook till sugar reaches 1 string consistency.
8. Pour the prepared syrup on baked baklava rolls and sprinkle pistachio powder on top.
