Nushrat was saved from going into depression

Nushrat Bharucha became a popular name after she played Chiku in Pyaar Ka Punchnama series. Her last release, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, was one of the biggest surprise hits of the year and it also made it to the elite Rs 100 crore club. And she has now bagged a project titled Turram Khan. Talking about Turram Khan, the film stars Rajkummar Rao in a lead role and is directed by Hansal Mehta. Rajkummar and Nushrat have worked together in Love Sex Aur Dhoka but were not paired opposite each other. So this will be the first time, where we will see them romancing together. Talking about her excitement, Nushrat said she worked with Raj so many years back and always had a feeling that someday they will work together again. And it happened at such a good point in both their lives and careers. For her, it was an absolute honor to work with him and if she wasn't in the cast of the film, she would have gone in depression. So, we are definitely expecting Turram Khan to be an out-of-the-box venture. Mehta is collaborating with Rao for the fifth time after Shahid, Aligarh, Citylights and Omerta.
