How about a little fun when making pizza without compromising on health? Get creative and see the plain jowar bhakris turn into an oven-fired look-alike pizza.
BHAKRI PIZZA
Ingredients
4-6 small jowar bhakris
1 chicken sausage
½ small yellow capsicum
3-4 pitted black olives
3-4 pitted green olives
3-4 cherry tomatoes
Pizza sauce for applying
Grated mixed cheese for sprinkling
Onion rings
Blanched small broccoli florets
Red capsicum strips as required
Fresh basil sprigs as required
Method
1. Cut the chicken sausage into thin roundels.
2. Cut the yellow capsicum piece into half deseed it cut one half into triangles and cut the remaining half into strips.
3. Cut the black olives and green olives into roundels. Cut the cherry tomatoes into thin roundels as well.
4. Arrange the bhakris on a worktop. Apply some pizza sauce on each bhakri. Sprinkle some cheese and arrange the veggies to make desired faces or design.
5. Heat a non-stick tawa. Gently place the small pizzas on it cover and cook on low heat till the cheese melts.
6. Garnish with basil sprigs and serve.
