DAHI KI SABZI
Ingredients
2½ cups yogurt (dahi)
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
2 green chillies, slit
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 medium onion, finely chopped
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon coriander powder
1½ tablespoons milk
A pinch garam masala powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let the seeds crackle.
2. Add green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder and onion, mix and sauté for 2 minutes.
3. Add salt and coriander powder.
4. Add milk to the yogurt, mix well, add to the pan and stir to mix and bring to a boil.
5. Switch off heat, add garam masala powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
6. Serve hot.
