SURMAI FRY
Ingredients
400 grams Surmai fish fillets, cut into darnes
2 tablespoons coriander leaves-garlic paste
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1½ tablespoons mixed masala
Oil for shallow-frying
½ cup rice flour
Method
1. Take fish darnes in a bowl. Add coriander leaves-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and mixed masala and mix well.
2. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.
3. Spread rice flour on a plate and coat the marinated fish darnes.
4. Place the prepared fish darnes in hot oil and shallow-fry from both sides till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot.
