CHEESE AND SPROUT SANDWICH
Ingredients
8 brown bread slices
4 cheese slices
1 cup sprouted green gram, blanched and drained
2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
Salt to taste
Green chutney as required
1 teaspoon chaat masala
12-16 black peppercorns, crushed
2 medium tomatoes, cut into round slices
4 teaspoons Milky Mist butter
Tomato ketchup for serving
Method
1. Place the onion, grated potatoes, salt, chaat masala, peppercorns and sprouts in a bowl and mix well. Divide into four equal portions.
2. Heat a sandwich griller.
3. For the sandwich, place 4 brown bread slice on the work top. Apply some butter and chutney on each slice. Place tomato slices on each slice and spread one portion of the sprouts mixture on the bread slice. Place a slice of cheese on top of the sprouts mixture.
4. Place the sandwiches, two at a time, in the sandwich griller and toast till crisp. Apply a little butter on top
5. Serve with tomato ketchup.
