Add proteins to your diet in a fun manner by making Mixed Sprouts Poha! Simply add in your favourite mixed sprouts like kala chana moong and matki and give your poha a nutritious twist. Serve hot for a hearty breakfast!
Ingredients
2 cups pressed rice (poha) soaked and drained
2 cups boiled mixed sprouts (kala chana moong and matki)
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 green chillies
1½ medium onions finely chopped
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
Juice of ½ lemon
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Roughly chop green chillies.
2. Add mustard seeds to the pan and let them splutter. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add green chillies and turmeric powder and mix well. Add mixed sprouts pressed rice salt sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
3. Transfer the poha onto a serving plate and serve immediately.
