Going back to basics with a super simple festive batatyachi bhaji which can be made in no time with only a handful of ingredients. This quick recipe is a must have on the YUMUtsav list. BATATYACHI BHAJI Ingredients 4 medium potatoes boiled peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds ¼ tspasafoetida (hing) 2-3 green chillies broken ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp split skinless black gram Salt to taste ¼ tsp sugar 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish 1 tsp lemon juice Method 1. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida green chillies and turmeric powder. Add split skinless black gram and sauté for a few seconds. 2. Add potatoes salt and sugar and mix well. Add coriander leaves switch off the heat and add lemon juice and mix. 3. Transfer the bhaji into a serving bowl garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
