BAKED TOMATO NACHOS WITH CHEESY MAYO AND PEAR SALSA
Ingredients
Tomato Nachos
½ cup tomato puree
1 cup maize flour (makai ka atta)
½ cup refined flour (maida) + for dusting
¼ cup Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread + for greasing
Salt to taste
Pear salsa
½ cup finely chopped pears
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
A pinch of red chilli powder
1 green chilli chopped
2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
2-3 tbsps chopped onions
1 tsp red chilli sauce
1 lemon
Nutralite Cheesy Garlic Mayo to drizzle
Method
1. To make nachos take maize flour in a bowl. Add refined flour Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread tomato puree and salt and mix well.
2. Add ½ cup water and knead to soft dough. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven at 180⁰C.
4. Dust some refined flour on the surface roll out the dough into a thin rectangular sheet and cut into triangles.
5. Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes.
6. To make pear salsa take pears in a bowl. Add salt crushed black peppercorns red chilli powder green chilli coriander and onion and chilli sauce and mix well.
7. Squeeze lemon and mix well.
8. Arrange the nachos in a serving bowl. Add prepared salsa on top.
9. Fill Nutralite Cheesy Garlic Mayo in a piping bag and cut the tip.
10. Drizzle the mayo on nachos and serve.
