BREAD PORICHATHU
Ingredients
4 white bread slices cut into triangles
1½ cups refined flour
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsps black sesame seeds
½ tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Coffee for serving
Method
1. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add turmeric powder black sesame seeds sugar salt and mix well.
2. Add 1¼ cups water and mix well to form a smooth batter.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip the bread slices in the prepared batter and slide into hot oil.
4. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with coffee.
