Will sequel to Robot ever be made

Rajinikanth and director Shankar joined hands back in 2010 for a blockbuster movie called Enthiran aka Robot in Hindi. Post the film?s phenomenal success, rumours of a sequel to Enthiran have been doing rounds. Even Aamir Khan?s name has been linked with the sequel, as rumours were rife that the Dhoom 3 actor will be playing villain in the film.
